On's apparel sales rose 68.2% in 2025
@on's apparel net sales grew 68.2% in 2025, to CHF 169.9 million, while shoe net sales grew 27.5%. That gap is the more interesting number. Shoes are still where a running brand's name lives, but apparel outgrowing the shoe line by that margin means design and marketing budget are being pulled toward kit, not away from it. It argues for apparel as its own category rather than a shelf next to the shoes. The figures are On Holding AG's, from its fourth quarter and full year results for 2025, published in March 2026.

Nothing left to assemble.
@on's LightSpray Cloudboom Strike 2 has no tongue, no laces, and no upper in the sense the word usually means. No pattern, no cutting, no stitching, no glue: roughly 1.5 kilometres of a single filament sprayed onto the midsole in a matter of minutes, and that is the upper. 158 grams. Helion HF foam, 15 percent lighter than the last generation, under a curved carbon Speedboard, with channels cut through the CloudTec Sphere geometry between midfoot and forefoot. Five millimetre drop. The first LightSpray shoe, in 2024, was 170 grams and $330. This one is 158 and $310. Super shoe prices do not move in that direction. This one could because there is almost nothing left in it to assemble.
